French & Spanish Immersion Preschool in Carlsbad
A nurturing place to build friendships, explore new languages, and grow in confidence.
At Petit Lion Language Academy, children 15 months - 4 years old experience French and Spanish through everyday play, songs, stories, and meaningful interactions. Our home-based preschool combines personal attention with hands-on learning, helping children feel comfortable, connected, and excited to discover.
Philosophy
A SMALL SCHOOL WITH A PERSONAL CONNECTION
Choosing a preschool means finding people you trust with your child’s everyday experiences.
At Petit Lion, we take time to know each child’s personality, interests, and routines. We work alongside parents to create a caring, consistent experience and share daily photos and activity updates so you feel connected throughout the day.
From morning greetings to new friendships, we make room for the little moments that matter.
LEARNING THROUGH LANGUAGE AND PLAY
French and Spanish become part of their day.
Language learning happens through connection and participation. Children hear and explore French and Spanish as they sing, play, create, and take part in familiar routines.
Our curriculum brings together child-led discovery and teacher-guided activities, with opportunities for:
Songs, storytelling, and early literacy.
Art, cooking, and creative expression.
Science, building, and early math exploration.
Yoga, movement, and outdoor play.
Sharing, cooperation, and growing independence.
Inspired by Reggio Emilia and play-based learning, our approach supports social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
